Located on Rockwell Avenue which is off of Ocean View Drive in South Wellfleet, this cottage is two doors away from the top of the dune leading down to a National Seashore Beach.  A staircase has been built down the dune to make it easy to go down and to come back up.  Carpe Diem has two bedrooms on the first floor, one with a double bed and the other with two twin beds.  On the second floor is the master bedroom with a king size bed and a fourth bedroom with two twin beds. The second floor also boasts an outdoor deck with a fantastic ocean view.  Both bathrooms are on the first floor, one with a stall shower and the other with a bath tub.

The modern, nicely equipped kitchen includes a four-burner electric stove with oven, full-size refrigerator with bottom freezer, dishwasher, a microwave oven, toaster and plenty of pots, pans, dishes and cooking utensils.  There is also a counter with stools for a quick bite before running off to the beach.

The open living room/dining room is bright and has comfortable seating.  There is a working gas fireplace.
Cell phone service is a bit spotty in the National Park (you should go outdoors for best reception.  The cottage has a private land-line telephone that can be used to make local calls or calling card call.

For quiet evenings or an occasional misty afternoon, this cottage has games, puzzles and books for
adults and children.  There is also a DVD player and a VCR with a good selection of movies for all.  Other movies
can be borrowed from the library.

This is the perfect location for a large family or two small families who want to share.

Rental of this cottage requires the signing of a standard renters' lease and a refundable security deposit.
